Experience
A large part of this production was spent on location at the Isle of Man TT race and the North West 200 in Ireland.

Due to the fast paced nature of the shoot it was often difficult to monitor images live. Dan Carling would often share a monitor with the stereographer checking everything was in sync and exposed correctly on the RED One cameras.

Data Management was divided into 2 workstations. The first a portable laptop based battery workstation. With an additional laptop powerbank this ensured a 12 hour day on camera could be achieved, without losing power or backing up in the field.

The 2nd was a desktop workstation where the R3D files again were MD5 checksummed before generating edit files and passing on the backups to production.

A fantastic shoot to be part of, up close to the riders doing speeds of up to 200mph, remarkable memories.
