Experience
The 007 stage in Pinewood Studios, London was the stage used to build the huge set for this film. The set consisted of three parts the backstage area or animal enclosure the big top circus area and then the shopping mall. All three were connected as one giant set that pretty much filled the 007 stage, the biggest in Pinewood.

Florain Ballhaus wanted to do all colour correction onset to the live LogC camera signal setting exposure and colour exactly as seen so that dailies would be rendered identically to how viewed onset.

Dan Carling with the guidance of Florain created several CDL files to set the look of the film for each set area and time of day within the script. These CDL files were named with the agreed naming convention and ultimately passed to Pinewood post for dailies procesing.

Data management was carried out by Callum Weir. A Codex Vault XL was used to Clone and process the Alexa 65 material to a Codex SSD. Once this had been done rushes would travel via a rushes runner to Pinewood post along with the sound rushes and on set paperwork for dailies and LTO archival.

The films final leg was a 10 day shoot in Florida. All equipment was packed and shipped to the very humid Florida in July to shoot in a nature reserve and do some exterior establishers at a mall. Dan continued the same workflow in Florida, colour grading all the live video signals and saving the CDL files for Pinewood post.

Camera orginal data was continuously backed up to Codex SSDs and sent to Pinewood Post Atlanta for dailies processing.
