Experience
Dan Carling was fortunate to be hired on this project having worked with Passion Pictures once before. The interview section of the shoot took place in New York. Dan Carling visited New York on 3 separate occasions to complete the shoot.

The interview sections lasted several days. RED Drives were used to capture the R3D files as some takes spanned over 60 minutes. Not once did the cameras over heat due to the long recording time but a lot of data was created.

A near-set data backup workstation was setup in a quiet room adjacent to the studio where the R3D files were safely backed up with MD5 Checksums. Editorial files were rendered overnight, ready for delivery the following day.

This workflow was chosen as there was no over night lab on this shoot and this was the most efficient use of time.
