Experience

Digital Imaging Technician Dan Carling worked alongside cinematographer on the 2nd unit of this feature film based out of Pinewood Studios London.

Two duel monitor workstations were utilised for the shoot. One dedicated to DOP and the other for more technical QC and image analysis. Both workstations were always placed together in a L formation even when out on location in a trailer being towed by a 4x4.

All cameras were hardwired where possible to allow for the best quality image to be colour corrected. This also enabled the cameras to be tethered to the Codex onboard recorders for gate checks and data integrity checks.

Data management was performed by Company 3 who set up a near set digital lab at Pinewood Studios. Camera and sound rushes were delivered to them twice a day.
